How do I properly care for my apparel and swimwear?

 To extend the life and maintain the look and feel of your Yacht Club Access apparel and swimwear, follow these care tips:

  1. Rinse Before and After Swimming:
    Always rinse your swimwear with cool, fresh water before entering the pool or ocean. This helps reduce the absorption of harsh chemicals like chlorine or salt. After swimming, rinse thoroughly again to remove any residual chlorine, salt, or sand that can degrade the fabric over time.
  2. Wash Promptly with a Mild Detergent:
    After each wear, even if you haven’t gone swimming. Gently hand wash your apparel or swimwear using a mild, bleach-free detergent. Avoid harsh chemicals, fabric softeners, or heavy-duty washing cycles, as they can damage the material and affect elasticity, color, and overall appearance.
  3. Air-Dry Flat with a Fan:
    Lay your garments flat to dry in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Using a fan can help speed up the drying process without exposing the fabric to direct heat. Avoid wringing out the material or using a dryer, as high heat and friction can cause stretching, fading, and fabric breakdown.

 

Does swimwear run large, small, or is it true to size?

Swimwear runs true to size and has stretch, so please feel free to size up or down, per your needs. 

 

How long does shipping usually take?

Our shipping may take 3-5 business days depending on the order and the preferred shipping you've selected. 

 

What are the shipping rates?

Shipping over $100 is free. Shipping rates below that are determined at Checkout.

 

What is the return and exchange policy?

Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unworn, unwashed merchandise with original tags and hygiene protection attached. Approved returns are refunded to the original payment method. Customers are responsible for return shipping. Final-sale merchandise is not eligible. Read the full return and refund policy.

 

What is the material of apparel and swimwear?

Our swimwear is crafted from sustainable and eco-friendly materials. Being that each item is curated differently, feel free to check the description of each to learn more. 

 

What if i’m in between sizes, do I size up or down?

Depending on how you prefer your fit, we suggest you size down if you'd prefer a more form-fitting outfit, and up if you'd like something looser. If there is any doubt, feel free to stop by one of our stores and try on in person!
